Growing up near Birmingham, Alabama, Taylor Ard moved to Tampa in 2000 as a touring musician. In 2004, he transitioned into the mortgage industry, originally working with buyers building new, custom homes. He moved from Valrico to Lakeland in 2021 when he married his wife (also named Taylor!). They and their three children can often be found somewhere between their church, the Lakeland Farmer’s Market, and Catapult, where she operates her locally-owned business East of These (www.EastofThese.com). Taylor frequently plays music in his free time and profoundly enjoys the relationships developed while living in Florida and serving the people of Lakeland.
